Velaplast has 3 main technologies used in its processes – Single Layer Blow Moulding | Multi-Layer Blow Moulding | Injection Moulding – all of which comply with the highest quality standards of the industry.

SINGLE LAYER BLOW MOULDING

From bottles and gallons ranging from 250ml all the way to 20L, Velaplast’s Single Layer Blow Moulding packages are of the highest quality and resistance, backed by multiple tests conducted inside our proprietary lab.

MULTI-LAYER BLOW MOULDING

Packages that come with extra layers of protection, to prevent permeability of gases, light, humidity, solvents and others. There are 3 types of layering techniques:

COEXTRUSION: Multi-layer moulding using different thermoplastic resins. This type of technology prevents outside permeation of agents that may alter the bottled product.

FLUORIDATION: Single layer moulded packages that undergo a second stage of offline fluoridation, preventing outside contact with the bottled product.

PLASMA: Single layer moulded packages that undergo a second stage of in-line plasma application, inside a reactor. That makes the packages impermeable to external agents.

Ideal packaging solution for every type of agrochemicals, veterinary products, fertilizers, food and for customized solutions, all of which demand no external contact with the bottled product.

INJECTION MOULDING

Ideal technology for plastic packages that require reduced weight and a high degree of resistance, all combined with a high degree of customization. Velaplast offers a wide range of injection moulded products, all compliant with the widely recognized Velaplast standards.

Injection moulded packages have as its distinctive feature its reduced weight when compared to similar sized packages.
